Chief Accountant / Accounting Lead

 Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant with strong strategic and leadership capabilities, ideally with prior exposure to CFO-level responsibilities. This is a key role for a results-driven professional who can oversee financial operations while contributing to high-level business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions inc​luding general ledger, reporting, and compliance

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with regulatory standards

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices

• Support executive leadership with financial insights and strategic recommendations

• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar senior role

• Solid exposure to CFO-level functions or readiness to step into a strategic finance role

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS preferred)

• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

• High level of integrity and attention to detail
